Just a 10-15-walk downtown and you'll find an assortment of eateries, shops, breweries, wine bars, and coffee shops, and the lakefront Legacy Park. Also within walking distance are several public beaches and the gorgeous Ponderossa State Park.
In the Winter months, experience The Best Snow in Idaho at Brundage Mountain Resort which caters to all skill levels from the bunny run to cat skiing. Other snow sports available nearby include snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, and sledding. McCall Activity Barn, just south of town, offers plenty of winter fun for the kids.
