Quaint mountain cottage located in the gated lakeside community of Bear Paw. This house has two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, and one full bathroom. The living room is stocked with a smart tv, dvd player, and some fun board games for the whole family. The newly renovated kitchen has all of the appliances and serveware you would need to feel like you are at home while on vacation. The large kitchen window looks out towards the mountains and offers a beautiful sunrise view with your morning coffee. This historic 1930’s cottage is nestled in the Bear Paw community in the scenic blue ridge mountains on Lake Hiwassee. Lake Hiwassee is surrounded almost entirely by the Nantahala National Forest offering pristine, untouched mountain views. This lake is a hidden gem, get out on the water and surround yourself with nature!
About the community: Bear Paw is a gated community that offers a variety of amenities for our guests to enjoy. The pool, playground, basketball court, and tennis court are just a short walk away from our cottage. Mountain View Marina, located in Bear Paw, is a half mile down the road. The marina offers boat, kayak, and stand up paddle board rentals and the marina shop has souvenirs, snacks, ice, and ice cream for sale.
Things to do in Murphy: go for a hike, dine at a restaurant, visit the local brewery, antique shop, or head to Harrah’s Casino for a day of fun with activities for the whole family!
