This beautifully appointed 3 bedroom rental comes FULLY FURNISHED and is perfect for a family vacation, retreat, romantic getaway, or fishing expedition. The home will sleep up to 8 people comfortably. The main level has 2 bedrooms (1 king / 1 queen bed), 2 bathrooms (1 has a large soaker tub, 1 has a shower), an ocean view great room with kitchen, eating/sitting area and a woodstove, a dining room, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a separate laundry area. The lower level has 1 bedroom (queen bed) and a media/family room with a high-end double Serta pull out sleeper sofa.
The expansive deck with BBQ and fire table overlooks the heated, outdoor in-ground pool and stunning views of the Sooke Basin. Watch the sea birds, otters, seals, and sea lions at play. Moor your boat, launch your kayak, or try crabbing from the private dock. Or go down to the beach and take in the wildlife up close.
Enjoy a day of fishing on the ocean (one of the best fishing spots on the Island is located just around the point) and then clean your catch at the fish cleaning station on the dock. Sail/motor boats can be launched from the public boat launch in Sooke. The dock has deep water moorage and your boat can be tied up at the dock during your stay.
Internet / Cable / Garbage Disposal included. Free, private driveway/garage parking. The pool is for your exclusive use . If you plan to fish or crab, a valid BC tidal waters sport fishing license is needed. The license can be obtained online or in-person at select locations. Please check the Department of Fisheries & Oceans' website for more information. Please note that the pool will be closed October 1, 2021 - May 1, 2022 (subject to weather conditions). As part of the COVID-19 prevention policy, our kitchen does not contain any food staples.
