It is in a great location - only a short walk to the center of town and easy to explore the rest of the island from here. To the north along Alii Drive, it is approximately one mile to the restaurants and shops in Kailua-Kona, and less than two miles to Kailua Pier. To the south along Alii Drive, Magic Sands Beach Park and the popular snorkeling spot, Kahalu'u Beach Park, are both within three and half miles. For a day-trip, you can get to the beautiful white sand beach at Hapuna Beach State Park in less than an hour.
