THE SPACE:
Escape to our charming 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house situated on a flat, level lot. With an easy LEVEL driveway and entrance (only one step up to the door!), this home ensures accessibility for all. The lower level features a large open kitchen and dining room that flows into a cozy living room with a gas fireplace. There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom downstairs, offering ample space for relaxation. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed, while Bedroom 2 is furnished with two twin beds. As you ascend the stairs, you'll discover an open loft filled with games and toys for kids. Continuing on, the upper level houses two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom 3 boasts a comfortable king bed, and Bedroom 4 offers two double beds.

LOCATION:
The house is ideally located on a level lot in the tranquil Arnold community of Dorrington. Sierra Haven Retreat is just a 5-minute walk from a private small swimming lake. The main town of Arnold is a short 15-minute drive away, and Bear Valley can be reached in just 30 minutes by car.

ACTIVITIES:
Embrace the natural beauty of the area by exploring the hiking trails at Big Trees State Park or the Arnold Rim Trail. Within a 15-minute drive, you can also enjoy the local activities in Arnold, or venture 15 minutes further to the charming town of Murphys, where you'll find delightful restaurants, shops, and wine tasting experiences. During the summer months, take a refreshing swim in our community's small private swimming lake. For those visiting in winter, Sierra Haven Retreat benefits from its higher elevation, resulting in more snow! You'll find yourself 20 miles away from skiing and snowboarding at Bear Valley, as well as sledding and snow park fun at Spicer Snow Park. Big Trees State Park, a mere 5 miles away, offers excellent snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails.

To enhance your stay, our cabin offers a range of complimentary amenities, including an EV charger, coffee, tea, herbs, cooking oils, and a BBQ grill. Additionally, your reservation includes access to the private neighborhood swimming pond.

POWER:
Please note that the cabin is located in the mountains, and occasional power outages and internet interruptions may occur in this area. We have a generator which will kick on in the event of a power outage.

SPECIFICS:
1) We take cleanliness very seriously! The cabin is professionally cleaned one to two days prior to each guest's arrival. However, please note that as we are situated in a forested area, spiders and cobwebs may occasionally find their way inside. Rest assured, we make every effort to keep the cabin as clean and comfortable as possible for your stay.

2) This is not a hotel or party house; it is a family home. Please help us preserve it and our belongings that we are sharing with you.

3) Smoking or drug use of any kind is strictly prohibited in and around the property.

4) Occasional power outages may occur due to the rural aspect of this mountain area.

5) For security purposes, we have an exterior camera installed by the front and back doors. Rest assured, your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and the camera will only be used in the event of an issue raised by you or our next-door neighbors.

6) The roads and driveway are plowed in the winter.
