We are offering a little piece of our paradise to those that want to reconnect to nature. This is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. We live in the woods, on a holler with peace, quiet and serenity. We do have wildlife that frequents this property which include deer, bear, bobcat, fox, raccoon, possum and a plethora of feathered friends as well as our chickens and turkeys, and rabbits that free range at times. In the evening and early am hours the birds are glorious in their songs. Our land is not complete. We have big plans for it which include landscaping and “pretty pretty” stuff. The cabin is secluded, private and is not attached to our home. We choose to live simply and with this we don't have many of the bells and whistles that other places do. We do offer peace, quiet and a community bonfire if you choose. I also would like to relay that if you are a TV watching, phone staring kinda person, this is not the property for you. We do have phone service and internet, however its spotty. This will not be the place to stare at your phone and surf the internet. If you are looking to sit out on the porch, join my husband and I for a bonfire, or have a cup of coffee while listening to the birds, oh honey....this is it! We are 4 miles from Laurel Run park which has some beautiful hiking and waterfalls. 7 miles from Bays mountain. 6 miles from the grocery store, 5-11 miles from multiple popular wedding venues including, Shiloh Ridge, Sayrah Barn, and Allendale. Only about 10 miles from Kingsport. Although we are secluded, we are still close to many amenities. The cabin does have a refrigerator, charcoal grill, and microwave. If there is something you require, please ask we may be able accommodate you.
