This is a one of a kind 2nd floor 1700's Brick Farm House with many, many flower gardens, a small stream behind the house, a gorgeous pond complete with a sand beach area and a large dock, plus pastures and fields all on 60 acres. It is located a few miles outside of Intercourse, Pa close to the major attractions of Amish Country. Come enjoy the garden spot of America. Visit Lapp Valley Farm (Lancaster's best ice cream), Kitchen Kettle Village, Dutch Wonderland, and Sight and Sound Theaters.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and dishes plus a neat dining room. The living room has 2 pullout couches and and 2 recliners for you to sit and relax or you are welcome to relax outdoors among the beautiful gardens. Complete with 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds and a full bath this amazing suite offers you all the comforts of home..
This suite is newly renovated with new carpets in both bedrooms and the living room. The stairway has been renovated and new doorways for the bedrooms. Everything has a fresh coat of paint and we have added many conveniences for you and your family.
The outdoors offers many flower gardens to stroll among. A small creek runs behind the house and the kids and adults alike are welcome to splash and wade in the waters. There is also a large pond in the back and you are welcome to sit and enjoy the peace and beauty. The pond is now a swimming pond. (If you wish to swim in the pond please make prior arrangements) You are welcome to bring your fishing gear and fish from the pond all on catch and release.
In the meadows you will see our longhorn cattle. They are large beautiful animals and although somewhat tamed they are not to be trusted. Please do not enter the meadows or feed the animals without permission. The horse in the barn loves treats so you are welcome to give him an occasional treat:) We have one pig, a flock of chickens & 3 goats.
