Fall in love with "Platte West." You are a minutes walk to Old Colorado City and less than 2 miles driving to Garden of the Gods entry. But better yet, there’s a Garden of the Gods trailhead just a 15-minute walk from the house!
Platte West boasts cool, modern-anthropology decor, with a beautiful open kitchen that connects to two living areas. Our favorite living area encapsulates comfort at it's best: large windows with bright sun, over-sized TV, comfortable leather couches, and a bar top with seats to engage on both sides of the fun. Enjoy this living space for family time with pizza, movies, and games, and/or casual conversation with a cocktail. Section off for one-on-one conversations, catch up with relatives, or relax and read in the additional living room when you need a space to refresh. Either way, all needs are met.
Bedrooms are tailor-designed for specific desires. Enjoy a 5-star Queen Bed to sleep deeply after a hike at Garden of the Gods. Stretch out on the King Bed after enjoying the glorious water falls at 7-Falls. Read books with kids or reminisce about the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and North Pole in our two, twin-trundle bedroom.
If you'd prefer to take some down-time from all Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Woodland Park offer, hangout on the back deck while kids (and adults) take advantage of the backyard turf. This is perfect for soccer, football, or whatever creative activities your friends and family desire. Not to mention, our fire pit is the perfect way to engage nostalgia roasting hot dogs and perfecting s'mores.
